The Poll-toppers in Clare in 2002 – Tony Killen, Sile De Valera (FF), Pat Breen (FG) and James Breen (Independent, ex-FF) were all elected. Notice how intertwined Sile De Valera’s and Tony Killeen’s support bases were – you could say “indiscrete” if there were such a word.
